8-Bit Exhibition

So my exhibition, 8-Bit A Rad Exhibition for Geeks wrapped up a couple of weeks ago and by and large it was somewhat of a success.  I sold three out of the ten prints that were exhibited, so I was fairly chuffed with that.  Plus all of the people that came through seemed to really enjoy the work.  It was fun seeing people trying to guess which film was what, which character was who and so on.  Most people picked all of the films except for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou!  Peasants.

Lot of weirdos knocking about though... I mean it was in Surry Hills after all.  There was one fella that kept on riding back and forth down the road on a bicycle with a parrot on the handle bars.  Every time he went over a bump the parrot squawked and scared the shit out of everyone.  Usual stuff.  Also the gallery was opposite a soup kitchen, which was rather grim.

Anyway, below are some shots of the work, of which I'm sure most of you have seen, although there were some new prints on display.  Plus it's rather nice to see a physical copy of your work, hanging on a wall and that.  I work in digital so vary rarely to we get to see our work nicely printed.

I have seven of these prints left, so if anyone is interested in buying one let me know, and we can work something out.  They're A2 prints on archival paper, mounted onto foam core, so you will need to get them framed if you want to treasure it for an eternity, otherwise they will warp.

As always, you can grab prints, tees, cards, tea cups and commemorative beer coasters from my store.

  1. I can't believe that nobody figured out the Steve Zissou one. Good job!
